Body Media, maker of an FDA approved arm band that measures how many calories you burn, recently closed a $12 million round of funding led by Comcast. Body Media’s armbands cost from $99 to $299 with an additional monthly subscription fee of $6.95 per month. The armbands are up to 90% accurate — better than anything else out there, according to Body Media.
